You have got to be kidding me!! I can't believe you have a category for "best tattoo artist" and "best tattoo studio" and you don't even include anyplace or person named "shaw". HELLO!!! Name another tattoo shop in town, hell, much less in the entire US that is about to celebrate it's 30th anniversary and I might really be impressed. Shaw's Tattoo has by far the most talented and professional artists in town. I never get work done anywhere else. Ever. But, since the public is mostly unaware that people cannot be named in the Houston Press "Best of" issue without paying for the honor and buying an ad, I guess they will blindly travel to any old idiot to get permanent art on their body since you recommend them. Maybe you should keep up on your research. The "best" studio you named last year didn't even have a license. You are sending people uneducated with the industry to people who might not even be practicing with sterilized equipment. Nice work, guys.

Someone down there seems a little bit angry about someone who is up and coming in the business. Instead of hating on someone because they are voted best of, try congratulating them. Loyal customers is what will get you this... Antone is a great artist and has worked hard to get this so anyone who wants to hate on it needs to just get over it because this does not come easy. We love you Antone!!!!
