999 Eyes Freakshow and Dirty Comedy Show
A night guaranteed to be freakin hilarious
Published on January 17, 2008
Were guessing the 999 Eyes Freakshow and Dirty Comedy Show is a dream come true for comic Danny Rios. The local joke slinger, who won the 2006 Laff Stop Houstons Funniest Person contest, riffs on hookers, the mentally disabled, midgets, sex and combinations of each. And in case you missed the Freakshow the last time it was in town, it features Miss Firefly, who is arguably the worlds sexiest and smallest woman, measuring in at 27 inches. Shell likely need her fellow freaks Lobster Girl, Elephant Man, the Human Tri-pod and the 999 Eyes That Damned Band (who will provide the nights sound track) to help fend off Rios, as well as two more lewd local comics, Rob Mungle and Sam Demaris. But if you think the comedians will be the only ones cracking jokes, keep in mind, these freaks arent made for gawking. Each showcases his or her own talents for dancing, music and more in a hilarious vaudevillian stage show thats sure to excite the crowd and arouse Rios. 7 p.m. Meridian, 1503 Chartres. For tickets and information, call 713-629-3700 or visit www.meridianhouston.com. $10 to $12.
